Wall Street Journal and Amazon bestelling author of the Lost Immortals Saga, Musical Interlude Series, and the PathSeekers Novels, KaSonndra Leigh is also a mother, blogazine owner, reader, gardener, home renovator, and a slayer of Egyptian zombies in Tomb Raider. She believes in karma, coffee, and seriously wish that the producers of Xena would resurrect her favorite show.
KaSonndra was born in the race-car city of Charlotte, NC, and now lives in Raleigh-Durham, NC. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in business management and an MFA in Creative Writing. She’s currently working on obtaining her RIDOQ certification through the New York Institute of Art & Design.
Most of KaSonndra’s book characters are based on people that she has met throughout her travels and adventures. People tend to stop and start conversations with KaSonndra as if she has known them her entire life.
Does this freak her out? Not really. Her mom says that one day she’ll get kidnapped by one of these folks. What was KaSonndra’s response? She told her mom that if it weren’t for the lovely people, then she wouldn’t be able to create such fabulously romantic stories.
One last tidbit about KaSonndra… She has watched the movie Under the Tuscan Sun no less than 200 times. The renovation of her ranch home turned Italian villa was inspired by the villa Bramasole owned by author Frances Mayes.
