Facts About Me and My Design Goals
I am a bold but practical interior decorator. My passion stems from my love of architecture, interiors, history, and travel. I get my inspiration from the places I’ve visited combined with my love of nature. I am also somewhat of a homebody which helps me to understand my clients need to want to relax and chill out in their homes.
Originally from the Triangle, I’ve lived in many places throughout the east coast. I began after moving into my first apartment which was an empty shell and I didn’t know how to turn it into a home. So I started reading books, magazines and watching “HGTV”. I fell in love with the design process during that time and became an Interior Decorator with KaSonndra Leigh Designs.
I’ve created many different and varied looks but my personal style leans towards a contemporary style fused with urban modern and industrial touches. I love to include plants & unique artisanal style pieces into the interiors I design. I also own pets which helps me keep it real and inspires me to create spaces that are not only fresh and interesting but also stylish with a strong functional element.
I believe in a collaborative approach and work closely with my clients to understand their practical needs, mixing this with décor styles and ideas they love to create a real ‘wow’ factor within any given space. I bring young fresh eyes to the design scene from one room to an entire house
